All courses are offered by Wilson College as individual 3-credit graduate-level courses, and most courses can also be taken as part of the Master of Educational Technology (MET) degree program.

Eduspire’s graduate-level professional development courses and the Master of Educational Technology are also available to New Jersey teachers as part of NJECC’s Innoversity program.

Course Categories

Technology-Based Teaching Frameworks and Resources (18 courses)

Courses delivering instruction in tools and methods to implement technology-based teaching frameworks.

Teaching Today's Students (12 courses)

Courses to help educators understand today's technology-oriented students and utilize technology effectively to promote development of strong character and skills in students.

Device Enabled and Collaborative Learning (12 courses)

Courses which train educators in the application of specific devices and collaborative tools, providing a grounding in key technology tools in schools today.

Inter-disciplinary and Content-Specific Technology Integration (27 courses)

Courses providing training in a variety of specific methods and strategies for integrating technology. Also includes subject-specific or content-specific technology integration courses.

MET Capstone Courses (2 courses)

These Wilson College courses are the final two courses that are taken as part of the MET program. They include action research and a final thesis.

Instructional Technology Specialist (8 courses)

The PDE-approved ITS Certification is designed to enable educators with technology-focused specializations in their schools or districts to become tech coaches and district tech leaders. The ITS Certification is available as part of the MET degree or as a stand-alone certification. MET enrollees must take the 8 required ITS Certification courses instead of the other customizable MET categories.

Online Instruction Endorsement (4 courses)

The Online Instruction Endorsement (OIE) can be obtained through Wilson College by Pennsylvania educators along with a Master of Educational Technology degree or as a standalone endorsement. This PDE-approved Online Instruction Endorsement, consisting of four pre-defined courses, is designed to enable educators to distinguish their teaching practice for effective online learning.
